Directions for Use

Always apply Blue Star Ointment to clean, dry skin. This is an ointment and will stay on the skin until it is absorbed or removed. Apply as often as needed for itch relief. We recommend 3-4 times during the day. You can also cover the area after application to prevent transfer.

There are several ways/methods you can use apply Blue Star Ointment:

For bites or small coverage areas:

  • dip a cotton swab into the ointment and roll the ointment onto the swab. Cover the affected area with the product on the swab.

For knees, elbows, feet:

  • use about a quarter size portion out of the jar and apply directly to the area and rub into the skin.

For larger areas:

  • use as much as needed to completely cover the area.

Some skin is more sensitive than others and Blue Star Ointment may cause a burning sensation in some users. You can suspend the formula without losing it's effectiveness by mixing in 1 part petroleum jelly (Eucerin or like product) to 1 part Blue Star Ointment.
